“M.I.A." features many scenes centered around the Haitian community, and it is incredibly important to us that we have real Haitian people representing their culture authentically.
This production celebrates the love, resilience, and deep sense of community within Haitian culture, highlighting its warmth, strength, and unwavering support—not just for its own people, but for everyone, regardless of ethnicity.
We’re casting Haitian individuals of all ages—no prior TV or film experience is needed. Our priority is authenticity. We would love for you to share this casting with family or friends who might be interested and who you would like to work with too!

THE ENTIRE TV SHOW WILL FILM FROM MARCH 20205 - AUGUST 2025
FILMING LOCATION :
Filming will mostly take place in Miami, Little Haiti, and nearby surrounding cities
⭐️ ROLE 2 - HAITIAN strong swimmers
INFO :
AGE : 6 - 55 years of age

ETHNICITY : HAITIAN (& related ethnicities)
RATE : $350 per day (based on a 12-hour day)
In this TV show, a Haitian woman saves the life of one of our actresses. The woman who performs the rescue also becomes one of the main actresses in the show. The scene you will be filming includes the rescue itself and the arrival to shore.
DATES NEEDED :
Both filming dates will likely be much shorter, but both rehearsal days will most likely be a full day of work (the 6-8yr old boy will have different hours than the adults).
2 Rehearsal Dates : March 20th (Thursday) & March 21st (Friday)
Rehearsal dates including your fitting for this role and several practices of the action you will be doing on camera - Start Times for these Date will be in the Morning, this will take place at the Filming Location so you will know exactly what to do on the Filming dates
2 Filming Dates : April 1st (Tuesday) & April 2nd (Wednesday)
Filming Start Times will not be an early- you can expect an earlier Afternoon start time.
HAITIAN RAFT ARRIVAL SCENE :
◦ 6 Adult Performers (Ages : 18-55yrs)
◦ 1 Child Performer (Ages : 6-8yrs)
SKILLS REQUIRED :
SAFTEY IS OUR SET’S #1 PRIORITY - WE ARE ASKING FOR PEOPLE THAT ARE OVER QUALIFIED TO WORK IN THESE SCENE, THERE WILL BE SEVERAL ON SET SATEFY ADVISORS ASSISTING IN THESE SCENES.
- Must have strong swimming abilities
- Must be comfortable in waist-deep water
- Must able to hold their breath when necessary
- Must be ok ok with jumping off the raft in approximately 8ft deep water
LOCATIONS :
Rehearsal days will begin in the Wynwood Area at our Studio and then Raft work Day 1 will be filmed on Miami Beach and Raft work Day 2 will be filmed at Hobie Beach (near Brickell / Key Biscayne)
