Casting TaylorMade is honored to announce our newest feature film — HAL — a powerful true story about an extraordinary humanitarian whose courage and compassion changed countless lives. This film is a reminder that one person can make a difference, and that empathy, service, and kindness can ripple much farther than we realize.

We will be handling the Background Casting, which spans multiple decades from the 1960s all the way to present day. We’ll be bringing to life how one individual’s compassion, determination, and service impacted communities across the United States.

While filming will take place mostly in/near Fayetteville, Atlanta & Surrounding Cities, the story will portray a variety of cities and suburbs throughout the country.

We’ll be casting a wide range of authentic looks, ages, and personalities to bring each decade to life across different communities, socioeconomic landscapes, and the many adventures and journeys woven into this story.

All talent will have to attend a MANDATORY fitting, which will begin around February 9th.

This will be a multi-phase casting process, as we have a large number of roles to fill:

• The first wave of casting for scenes filming February through early March

• The second wave will follow for scenes filming March through April 7th

• There may even be a third wave breaking March into two sections — there is a lot to cover!

Because this project spans so many eras, hair will play a major role in authenticity.

Please DO NOT cut your hair at this time — and, if possible, allow it to grow out so our hair/makeup team can style you for the decade you are best suited for.
