The world of GOD OF TIDES spans a wide range of environments and energy, moving seamlessly from wealthy elite social gatherings to dive bars, neon raves, and everything in between. The story is layered, textured, and deeply influenced by Florida communities, and we are excited to bring these spaces to life in a way that feels authentic and lived-in.

For this filming day, the location in Gainesville, FL will be playing as if we are in the Caribbean within the story, helping us capture the atmosphere and cultural influence that exists within the world of the film.

For this filming day, we are primarily casting Spectators and Audience members who will help bring the atmosphere of the scene to life.

We may also be casting a few additional diver-type roles as well.

🌊 Welcoming all worldly types from the diving & non-diving communities.
Seeking individuals of the following backgrounds:

• Caribbean descent, including Bahamian
• Cuban

Our goal is always to build a background cast that feels informed and authentic, helping these scenes feel believable and true to the communities being portrayed.

You are receiving this email because someone from Production, or an associate working with them, has reached out to you regarding helping coordinate a filming day for the production GOD OF TIDES at the Blue Grotto in Gainesville, FL.

📅 Filming Date: Monday, March 16th

If you are receiving this email, it means we would absolutely love to have you work with us. At this stage, we simply want to confirm that you are fully on board and available, as there are several different people helping coordinate this day behind the scenes.

That is where I come in! You can think of me as the ringleader helping organize everything so it all comes together smoothly.

💵 Rate: $224 / 12 hours
⏰ Call Time: This will be an early morning call time.

Please note that we will need everyone to be available for the full 12-hour filming day. As with most film productions, there can be periods of waiting while different elements of the scene are prepared. You will not necessarily be working the entire time, but we do need everyone to remain present and available for the duration of the filming day, as things can move quickly once cameras are ready.

We are still hiring for all roles, so if you have friends who are free divers or who might simply be interested in being part of this filming day, please feel free to share this casting opportunity with them. You are welcome to forward them the link and have them fill out the information below so we can consider them as well. I will do my best to get them booked too!

For those who are already officially booked, we have a spot saved for you and you will see your name listed below.

📩 Final filming details will be sent out on Friday.
This will include what to wear, where to park, and your exact call time. We are not able to send these details earlier, as production finalizes them closer to the filming day. This is very normal in the film industry.
